We created the new Barbwire at the request of our dealers who told us we needed a smaller scale boat that featured the same good looks, quality, and performance of our larger scale boats. This ready-to-run deep V boat is fast and responsive and even features a revolutionary self-righting hull design that makes swimming out to right your flipped boat a thing of the past. The Barbwire is small on size but big on features such as a 2950Kv Water Cooled Brushless Outrunner and 30 amp Water Cooled ESC. Our designers know that power means nothing without control, so we added a full 2.4Ghz radio and receiver for interference free long range operation. The adjustable trim tabs and turn fins allow for precise tuning, normally only found on much more expensive models. Put this all together in a ready-to-run package that is powered by Venom with included 20C 3S 1300mAh LiPO battery and 2-3 Cell Balance Charger and you have the best way to get out on the water fast. Always unplug the battery in the model before removing debris that has become tangled in the prop. The transmitter's range will vary depending on your surroundings and battery strength. Do not operate too far away or control will be lost. Ensure that all batteries are correctly installed and that the 6V NiMH battery is fully charged. Do not touch moving parts during operation, especially the propeller. Some of the electronic components may become very hot during use and can severely burn you if touched before they cool. Let the model stand and cool down before handling the motor, ESC and cooling components. If you lose control of your model, never wade into the water with strong currents to retrieve it. First, hold the transmitter as high as you can and try to re-establish control. If this does not work, and another way to move closer to the model, but do not endanger yourself in the process.
